Partners Host Annual Garden Party, 23rd June 2011

The partners hosted their annual garden party for key clients and intermediaries on Wednesday 23rd June at Lakeside, near Arnold.  The pre-dinner drinks should have been served outside under a canopy, overlooking the oriental style lake and gardens, but thanks to the good old British weather it was too cold and damp, so all  the guests had to get cosy inside instead!

The guests were entertained by a jazz band, and a caricaturist worked her way through the guests during the evening.  Three volunteers from the Friends of the Cromford Canal, this year’s charity of the year were also on hand to provide information about the work they do.  They were dressed in traditional boating costumes  and looked great!

The buffet was extremely tasty … chicken terrine, salmon and ham, followed by chocolate  pudding or creme brulee … are you feeling hungry yet?!

Another successful event and an enjoyable evening all round.
