Established in 2014, Richard and Michelle Daniels set up Forever Stars following the devastating loss of their daughter, Emily, who was stillborn. Forever Stars is a Charity dedicated to supporting families who have suffered a stillbirth or infant loss.

Based in Beeston but with reach across the East Midlands, Forever Stars have had a tremendous decade in fundraising efforts, resulting in a dedicated Serenity Centre located on Wollaton Road, a Serenity Garden at Highfields Park and two Serenity Suites, one at Queens Medical Centre and the other at Nottingham City Hospital.

Their main aim for this year is to update an area at Queens Medical Centre for families who have experienced miscarriage. They will be raising funds to upgrade the currently underfunded A23 ward with a new garden and new indoor space to create a more comfortable environment for those awaiting treatment or consultation. Their latest campaign ‘Supporting 1 in 4 in 2024’ commenced with a networking event at the beginning of March and a sponsored Easter egg hunt on Good Friday with many other excellent fundraising opportunities to come.

As an East Midlands based legal firm, Ellis-Fermor and Negus Solicitors are proud to announce Forever Stars as its Charity of the Year for 2024/25. Over the past 20 years, the firm has been keen to play its part in raising the awareness of local charities and this year, Ellis-Fermor and Negus were keen to support the important work of Forever Stars to families in their community. The firm is impressed not only by Forever Stars work in raising funds for larger projects such as the regeneration of hospital wards but also their day to day support to those suffering the loss of a baby including their regular creative workshops held at the Serenity Centre in Beeston.

Founder of Forever Stars, Richard, said:

“Forever Stars are absolutely delighted to be the Charity of the Year for Ellis-Fermor & Negus Solicitors, as a firm they are extremely well known and respected locally, so it really helps the Charity in terms of gaining further awareness in the region.  We’re really looking forward to working together with their team, making a real difference in the support available to baby loss families in the East Midlands.”

Ellis-Fermor and Negus Solicitors are looking forward to working with the team at Forever Stars and helping support those members of the local community who have experienced loss of this nature. If you would also like to become involved please feel free to pop in a donation to any of the collection boxes located in our Reception areas.

If anyone wishes to discuss any ideas for fundraising, please contact Joanna Shields.
