We are pleased to announce the qualification of one of our trainee solicitors, Ben Bourne.
Ben, originally from Derbyshire, joined the firm as a trainee in September 2007. He graduated with a law degree from The University of Wales, Aberystwyth in 2006 before completing his Legal Practice Course at the College of Law, Chester in 2007. Since qualifying he has joined the Commercial department at our Beeston office where he will be specialising in charity and property sectors.

Simon Hale, Partner and Head of the Commercial department commented: “We are delighted that Ben has qualified and are pleased to welcome him on to the team. Ben’s particular interest in charity law and practice will strengthen and expand our ability to provide legal services to this sector. We have a wide range of charity clients based in the East Midlands and beyond and Ben will be focused on meeting their needs for cost-effective legal solutions.

“We are a recognised training practice and it has long been part of our philosophy to invest in our staff including in trainee solicitors. Seeing Ben progress through his training to full qualification demonstrates our ongoing commitment to training which we hope is then reflected in our commitment and service to our clients.”
