- Children’s needs, wishes and feelings are always considered in mediation whether the children are present or not.
- Children can be seen but only in very carefully considered circumstances so that the child is not distressed or his welfare harmed.
- Older children are more likely to be seen in mediation.
- We would see children separately and listen to them and their views. Either the child or mediator will then convey their views to you.
