Ellis-Fermor and Negus are pleased to celebrate the achievements of three members of our team who have recently passed their further CILEX examinations.
Karen Wilson and Susan Dutton are key members of our family department, while Claire Bristol is a valued member of our dispute resolution team.
Between them, Karen, Sue and Claire bring many years of experience to the firm. Over that time, they have developed extensive legal knowledge and a strong understanding of the needs of clients. Passing these further examinations provides formal recognition of the expertise they have already developed.
Studying while working in a busy law firm is never easy. It requires a great deal of time and commitment. All have worked extremely hard to prepare for these exams while continuing to provide excellent service to clients, as well as supporting their colleagues and playing an active role in the team.
Solicitor and Head of the Family Law department, Joanne Wilbraham, congratulates her team:
‘Karen and Sue are highly valued members of the family team with 50 years of experience between them. We were dismayed that a recent High Court decision resulted in them having to undertake further assessments and are delighted that both passed their assessments first time with flying colours! Both Karen and Sue always rise to a challenge, so it comes as no surprise to us that they passed their assessments with such great results.’
Simon Hale, Senior Partner, added:
‘We are extremely pleased that our family lawyers Karen and Sue and our dispute resolution lawyer Claire have passed the assessments required so that they can continue to provide the service to clients which they have each done so successfully for many years. The results of these further assessments are a ringing endorsement of the skill, diligence and care which Sue, Karen and Claire have shown on behalf of their clients and we look forward to their continued contribution to the future of EF&N.’
