Kirstie Knight is based at our Ripley office
Kirstie joined Ellis-Fermor & Negus in 2015 as Compliance Officer. She acts as Compliance Officer for Legal Practice (COLP), Compliance Officer for Finance and Administration (COFA).
Kirstie qualified as a solicitor in 1998 after gaining LLB(Hons) Law at the University of Sheffield and a Diploma in Legal Practice at Nottingham Law School. She is currently studying for a Masters degree in Legal Practice.
After clerking in criminal law and a varied training contract with a high street firm Kirstie joined a specialist personal injury practice in Derbyshire. There she gained most of her post qualification experience in complex and catastrophic injury litigation, later moving into a team management role. During this time Kirstie also worked in Australia as a public liability lawyer. At Ellis-Fermor & Negus Kirstie deals with the firm’s compliance and quality requirements and has also spent time working with the Wills and Probate department assisting clients with Wills and Lasting Powers of Attorney.
