Darren attends St. Nicholas Church, Allestree. He is married with three children and in his spare time he enjoys song-writing, performing live as a singer/ blues guitarist and long distance running.

Interesting Matters

1. Successful emergency repossession proceedings in respect of privately owned land from experienced travellers who were not only squatting but behaving anti-socially towards the land owner and neighbouring residents.

2. Successful resolution of Employment Tribunal claim with additional severance of the employee’s contract of employment acting for Employer facing a significant claim for damages for disability and sex discrimination and breach of contract and the unenviable prospect of having to allow the employee to return to work.

3. Defending a client, his staff and new company against High Court Injunction process for breach of restraints of trade and brokering a settlement on this.

4. Bringing a claim of professional negligence against firm of Solicitors for a disappointed beneficiary that lost out when they failed to draw his Aunt’s Will up within a reasonable time or at all before she died.
