Interesting Matters
1. McNicol -v- Balfour Beatty – ground-breaking case in the Court of Appeal on whether “functional overlay” is a disability under the Disability Discrimination Act.

2. Represented 4 ex-servicewomen who successfully brought claims for sex discrimination against the MoD after they were dismissed on becoming pregnant.

3. Successfully obtained judicial review in the Court of Appeal of a decision of the local Council to bar a man from earning his living without a proper investigation and hearing.
