David is actively involved with Stapleford Baptist Church and is a Trustee and Company Secretary of the Chinese Overseas Christian Mission.  He is also chairman of the Friends International group in Nottingham.  He is married with two grown up children. In his spare time he enjoys hill walking, visiting National Trust properties and pottering in his garden.
